Land strip on HILL-SIDE

"Lukla Airport" which is also known as "Tenzing-Hillary Airport"

Is the most busiest domestic airport of Nepal, which was built by Sir Edmund Hillary way back in 1964.

Journey towards Everest Base camp / Mount Everest begins once you land at lukla.

Normally one (unless you're a pilot) doesn't get a chance to see the airstrip while landing, but Lukla is exception to it!
